Yusuf Kumtepe is a senior associate at Kabine Law Office, specializing in international arbitration and cross-border transactions. He has represented clients in commercial arbitrations across a wide range of industries, including construction, energy, airport management, pharmaceuticals, aviation, restaurant services, agriculture, media, and defence. He has also advised leading Turkish contractors in investment arbitrations against states in the MENA region and South Asia. Beyond his disputes practice, Mr. Kumtepe advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and boardroom strategy, acting for both controlling and minority shareholders. He further assists clients in navigating complex Turkish litigation and coordinates with foreign counsel in multi-jurisdictional matters.

Mr. Kumtepe received a Fulbright Grant and the 3C Foundation Scholarship to pursue an LL.M. at Columbia University, where he served as a research assistant to Professor George A. Bermann and as a graduate researcher at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment.
